Workshoppin'

Robyn here. Today we finished a righteous two-day workshop in Mr. Martin Lacelle's class at John F. Ross CVI in Guelph. For the four of us (jes sarah luke robyn) it was overwhelming, nostalgic, and really fun to be back in high school. The workshop was great, and though we have lots to learn - it was only our first time after all - we think and hope that everyone got a lot out of it. Or at least something! Thanks to the students for being great participants and engaging in challenging discussions and exercises. If anyone from Mr. Lacelle's class happens by our blog, please don't hesitate to let us know what you thought of the seminar, what you're thinking about these days regarding feminism, gender, social justice, fighting discrimination, or whatever else you may want to comment on. This blog is as much yours as it is ours! Haven't I said that already. Right now I'm sitting here at Out on the Shelf - queer library and resource centre, and general clubhouse of rainbow awesomeness. There's lots of stuff for everyone in this joint, so if you're queer or queer-positive, do drop in! www.outontheshelf.ca Guelph is lucky to have a place like this one!
